Learn to Swim Programs
FINS learn to swim programs are for students 30 months and up. Our learn to swim programs offer a wide range of class levels from the student who has a fear of the water to the student who is trying to master all 4 competitive strokes. Please review the class levels below to try and determine which level you think your child would best fit into. Our class sizes range from semi-private (2:1) to a group (4:1). We offer lessons Monday-Thursday 9A-8P, Friday 9A-7P, and Saturday 9A-12P.

Red FINS
(ages 30 mos-14 years)
Class Size 2:1 Pricing $140/month (1x/wk)
This class is designed for a student who has fear of the water or separation issues and requires a slow, comforting approach to swimming.
ENTRY SKILLS
- Fear

- Uncomfortable getting into the pool or putting their face in.

- Goes under assisted
- Attempts assisted back floats
Angel FINS
(ages 30 mos-8 years)
Class Size 2:1 Pricing $140/month (1x/wk)
This class is for the young beginner with no fear, no swimming skills, and has been in a pool before.
ENTRY SKILLS
- No crying
- Independent entry
- Will attempt bubbles
- Will attempt skills with assistance
EXIT SKILLS
- Bubbles for 3-5 seconds
- Attempt sailboat and motor boat with face in 3-5 seconds
- Assisted Humpty Dumpty
- Assisted back float with ears in water
- Follows directions
Angel FINS II
(ages 3-8 years)
Class Size 3:1 Pricing $96/month (1x/wk)
This class is designed for a student who is comfortable going under water 3-5 seconds and attempting to float on their back.
ENTRY SKILLS
- Face in the water 3-5 seconds
- Attempt gliding and kicking with face in the water
- Attempt floating on back with assistance
- Follows directions
EXIT SKILLS
- Jelly Fish float
- Controlled arm movement (big arms reach and pull)
- Correct streamline (sailboat & motorboat)
- Straight arms over the water
- Independent Humpty Dumpty (fall in and turn around the get the wall)
- Float independent (10 seconds)
- Tickle, airplane, soldier (Elementary Backstroke)
Blue FINS
(ages 3-14 years)
Class Size 4:1 Pricing $70/month (1x/wk)
This class is designed for students who can reach and pull 5 to 10 feet and float on their back.
ENTRY SKILLS
- Jelly Fish Float
- Controlled arm movement (big arms reach and pull)
- Correct streamline (sailboat & motorboat)
- Independent Humpty Dumpty (fall in and turn around to get the wall)
- Float independent (10 seconds)
- Tickle, airplane, soldier (Elementary Backstroke)
EXIT SKILLS
- Roll over for breath for 30 ft.
- Full arm extension on freestyle
- Independent Monkey toes (safety jumps)
- Independent kick on back

Silver FINS
(ages 4-14 years)
Class Size 4:1 Pricing $70/month (1x/wk)
Silver FINS is designed for swimmers who are water safe, can swim freestyle with controlled arms and legs, and swim on their back, but need to learn side breathing and backstroke.

Gold FINS is designed for the swimmer interested in competitive swimming and learning drills for freestyle and backstroke and the introduction to butterfly and breaststroke.

Dolphin FINS is our top in water instruction class for swimmers who have mastered our Gold FINS skills and are ready for all four competitive strokes.

NEMO/Special Needs

Class Size 1:1 Pricing $140/month (1x/wk)
This class is a private lesson designed for students with special needs. We have many trained teachers who work with our special needs students. Specials needs include but are not limited to down syndrome, autism, and other physical and mental disabilities. An information sheet is required to be filled out by the caretaker of our special needs students to better prepare the teacher to work with the student in the best possible learning environment. A medical release may be requested.
