Fast FINS Gold

Successful completion of FastFINS Bronze or evaluation by FINS Supervisor for advanced placement.

Description of Program:

FastFINS Gold is a pre-competitive class designed for swimmers who desire to reach a year round swim team level or who simply desire to reach the next level of technique and speed in the sport of swimming. FFG will be coached by one of FINS highly trained coaches at a ration of 8 to 1. Additional emphasis will be placed on the swimming strength and stamina that will be required in upper level swim team workouts. The FFG swimmers will be introduced to additional swimming equipment as well as test set requirements necessary to fulfill team placement criteria. Generally, 30-40% of class time will be used on technique drills with 60-70% of the time used for workout sets.

Strenuous exercise will be a part of this program, so please make sure your child is prepared for this.  Doctor’s permission may be required.
