Our Swimming Philosophy

Our name, 'Fun IN Swimming' describes how students learn best - when they are happy. Accordingly, we provide an enjoyable and effective learn-to-swim program. Our proven professional methods and techniques in comfortable warm water, temperature-controlled environment make for the best possible learning experience.

Our History

When we tell our customers “Welcome to the FINS family” we mean it! FINS is a family owned and operated business. The owners, Bill and Kathy Goudeket, and 3 of their children, Megan, Liam, and Whitney all currently work at FINS. The Goudeket family has a long history in the world of swimming.

Bill Goudeket - Founder

Bill Goudeket and swimming go back a long way to the days of early childhood when he failed beginning swimming three times. With strong parental nurturing and guidance and exceptional college coaching from Hall of Fame Coach Don Easterling, Bill went on to turn his worst childhood experience into one of his most outstanding accomplishments. Bill Goudeket began swimming competitively at the age of 12 for the YMCA swim team in Ardmore, Oklahoma. While swimming throughout his high school years, he also found time to teach swim lessons and lifeguard.

Kathy Goudeket

Kathy Goudeket currently is heavily involved in our very popular baby swim program, Baby FINS. She stays abreast on the latest developments in baby swimming and teaches majority of our Baby FINS classes.

Megan and Whitney

Megan and Whitney work mainly at the Spring/Klein location and work with a variety of learn to swim classes.

Liam Goudeket

Liam works at The Woodlands location and works with a variety of learn to swim classes and competitive level classes.
